The "Beyond the Mountain Top" celebration is a tribute to the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. and will take place on Saturday, January 13th, at the CK Newsome Center in Evansville,
Indiana.
The day will commence with a meaningful "Day of Service" from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, providing an
opportunity for community members to actively contribute to the betterment of the Evansville area,
in the spirit of Dr. King's commitment to justice and equality.
Following the Day of Service, the festivities will continue with an engaging festival from 2:00 PM to
6:00 PM with a program starting at 4PM. The festival will feature an inspiring art show (all ages
welcome to participate), local vendors offering unique products and crafts, wonderful food options
from food trucks, and a dedicated Kidz-Zone for the younger members of the community.
