The Colour of Humanity Gala is the Museum’s premier annual fundraising event,
generating critical support for its exhibitions, educational programming, and
preservation initiatives. This black-tie experience is strategically designed to
cultivate donors, corporate partners, and community stakeholders while elevating
awareness of the Museum’s mission and impact.
The evening features curated cuisine, live entertainment, and compelling
storytelling that underscores the contributions of African Americans to the
American narrative. Sponsorship opportunities provide high-visibility brand
alignment, direct audience engagement, and recognition among a diverse and
influential audience of civic leaders, professionals, and philanthropists.
Proceeds from the gala directly support the Museum’s ability to expand
programming, enhance educational outreach, and preserve historically
significant narratives for future generations.
